My spiritual life and faith life are important to me. So is serving others. Those who know me know I considered the priesthood and explored life as a Marianist Brother. Today I am an active lay person in the Catholic Church and live my vocation as a lay Marianist. In addition to my parish, I am a member of Marianist Lay Community in Dayton, Ohio as a member of the Visitation Marianist State Community, whose members are across the country. I have been active with the Marianist Social Justice Collaborative, an organization which coordinates peace and justice efforts of the Marianist priests/brothers, sisters, and laity. Presently I am the chair-elect of the Marianist Lay Community of North America, the North American branch of the International Organization of Marianist Lay Communities, a private association of the faithful officially recognized by the Catholic Church.
My professional background is in non-profit, faith-based, and government work, largely in community development and human services.
My intention on this site is to share things that matter to me: family, community, church, spirituality, Mary, poverty, simple living, peace, inclusivity, and the desire to leave the world a better place.
